Basic and translational research in immunoregulatory cell-based therapy has been constrained by the lack of standardisation and incompletness of the reporting from clinical trials. This has affected both the comparability and reproducibility of the results. A development of a minimum information model, known as the MITAP protocol, has set guidelines and reporting standards for cell-based therapies (describing the cell products at all stages of production and the clinical applications), and serves as a foundation for further standardisation efforts.

In this talk, I will discuss my work on a data warehouse for tolerogenic cell therapies, that supports standardisation and quality control, and will inform the design of future standardised immuno-monitoring in clinical trials.
