IDRIS is a computational approach used to rapidly identify unique bacterial biomarkers. These biomarkers have a multitude of applications from diagnostics to therapeutics. IDRIS reduces the time required to identify novel biomarkers considerably, taking just minutes to run. I will be describing the approach and presenting some case studies produced to provide laboratory proof of concept for IDRIS as well as outlining our future goal of forming a spin-out company.
