This talk gives an update on new large-scale initiatives for imaging data on healthy subjects (UK Biobank) and dementia patients (Dementia Partnership UK). These new datasets facilitate the development of computational models to drive in silico and personalised medicine. A recent EU report has outlined several use cases for informatics and computational models for the development of drugs or medical devices. I will discuss how these developments are linked to our ongoing effort to develop computational models for the treatment of patients with brain disorders.
